Get up. eat. work. eat. work. eat. shower. sleep. repeat!

This has been my life for almost the entire summer thanks to my pretty sweet job (I must say I got lucky) as a lifeguard at a local waterpark. While it’s awesome to work outside, the 10+ hour days can be loooong. But I can’t complain because I need the money for school next year.

In fact, Brescia makes it easy to track your financial situation- they even have a financial calculator which I must admit has helped me stay on track of my spending and helped motivate me to save money this summer. It’s really reassuring to be able to predict how much money I will need for school next year and it’s good motivation for me to take that extra shift!

Thank goodness for Brescia’s awesome scholarship program; my confirmation letter came in the mail yesterday and I couldn’t be more excited!

All this financial talk is making me tired and I should probably get to bed before my 7:30am training tomorrow (and 12.5 hour shift) anyways.
