Winter Wonderland

As you have probably noticed, we can get quite a bit of snow in London. So, here are some things that you can do in your spare time.

Skating: The main place to skate outdoors is Victoria Park. It’s nice to skate there around Christmas time because they decorate the park. Another place to skate outside for free is the Covent Garden Market. You can also skate at Storybook Gardens for $4.25 per person.

Tubing: There are two tubing places in the London area. The first is River Valley and it costs $18+tax for two hours, there special is on Wednesday nights for $14+tax. The second place is Boler Mountain it costs the same and there special is also the same but on Thursday evenings.

Skiing or Snowboarding: The only place London has to go skiing and snowboarding is Boler Mountain. The runs are not that step or long, however, it is a great place to learn. A lot of people like to go there for the terrain park. If you are interested here is the website for prices and more information: http://www.bolermountain.com/day-tickets/

Sledding: The best place in all of London for sledding is by far Doidge Park. Everyone goes there because it has the steepest hill for sledding. It is definitely one thing you have to do while you are in London.

PS. Hope you all had a great winter break! Best of luck in the New Year!
